Within the same gender loving (bisexual and gay) community, there is an unofficial title that is sometimes applied to the interracial relationships that happen between black men and white men. The term used is "oreo" which refers to the cookie that has two chocolate (black) wafers with a creme (white) filling in between.
Which is fine if the the relationship involves the same threesome every time some sexual action is part of the agenda. But let's be realistic here, it isn't always possible for all three men to be together every single time a sexual act is available.
So the term "oreo" isn't really valid as a label for a interracial couple. A couple is a duo, a twosome, the more sexual reality. It is far easier to have the same two men involved than a scheduling nightmare where you have to confirm with a trio of men.
I'm not disrespecting a threesome. I've been involved in a number of those myself and I've enjoyed and satisfied myself every time. But if we're going to refer to the "oreo" symbolism, let's make sure we identify it in the proper context!
Gay, nude and proud!
