World AIDS Day, 2019

Today is a day for all of us to remember. We observe this day so that we can all recall how to protect ourselves from infection.

Remember:

1. HIV is the virus that causes AIDS.
2. AIDS is a result of HIV infection.
3. It's not who we are, its what we do that puts us at risk of HIV.
4. HIV is not spread by everyday, casual contact.
5. HIV is spread through blood, semen, vaginal fluid and breast milk.

Remember the above points. Let's all work together to stop the spread of HIV. Only a doctor can determine the result of an HIV test. 

Stay strong together! PrEP is a daily pill that a person who's HIV- can take that is more than 90% effective in preventing the sexual transmission of the virus that causes AIDS.
